The Muslim World’s First Female Cartoonist

Nigar Nazar started creating comic art in the 70s. Her comic strips became so popular that she eventually established her own studio. She is also a human rights activist who uses entertaining cartoons to talk about causes like girls’ education, women’s rights, abuse, environment, corruption and inter-faith harmony.
