HIV Outbreak in Pakistan
Over 400 children have been infected with the HIV virus in Larkana, Pakistan by a doctor allegedly reusing syringes. Pakistan has the second highest HIV rate across Asia and lack of awareness is contributing to the growing number. Yet the role of concerned authorities is questionable.
