After a press conference in Lahore on 24 January 2022, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has been arrested on counts of promotion of enmity between groups, criminal intimidation, statement conducing to public mischief, and sedition. The FIR was registered by the Secretary of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
